All Your 043s Are Belong To Us

Pyrex Mania! This isn’t really a “find”, but we finally had a chance to photograph most of the Promotional Oval 1 1/2 Quart Pyrex Casseroles (043/943 numbers) that we own. I think a few are still in storage, though. These 1.5 quart casseroles were one of the most popular sizes for promotional items - they came in a variety of colors, lid designs, and with or without a whole assortment of different cradles.

My mother still has the two casseroles in the lower right. Got them for shower gifts in 1958, I believe. This site has made my day! I thought I was the only one with this strange addiction! I have a cabinet full, as well as boxes in the crawl space for each of my three children when they leave home!
