The Bluebird Promotional Casserole was released over a few years starting in 1959 and features cute turquoise bird and flower motifs on plain opal white. I think a lot of people might get this confused with both the Butterprint pattern because of the similar colors (as well as the “Pennsylvania Dutch” look), and the Friendship bird pattern because of the similar bird motif.

Pyrex Love - Bluebird Casserole

We found ours at a local flea market, and although it didn’t have the serving caddy it was in excellent condition.

This 1 1/2 quart bake casserole was marked #043 and came with a clear lid and a serving caddy or cradle to protect the table. I believe it’s the standard cradle that has the white handles along with the brass metal - looking stand. As far as they go, this one seems to be fairly common and I wonder if that has something to do with it being released through several years as opposed to just one as in many of the limited casseroles. This is one of the few one-of-a-kind type casseroles that we’ve been able to determine the box number, which was 943-M-8. We’re trying to make some sense of all the box numbers, so if you happen to have any promo casserole in it’s original box please send us the numbers or a picture of the box.
