Pattern: Butterfly Gold
Identifiers / Alternate Names: Various butterflies and five petaled flowers. Most commonly a yellow-brown pattern on white, though the reverse of white on yellow-brown also exists. Two distinct pattern variations exist for various items - one has just the butterflies and flowers while the other has those items embedded on "wheat stalks", much like the Autumn Harvest pattern. Some lids feature a ring of butterfly gold with a single flower in the center, and the smallest size refrigerator box contains a single flower. Some other items (mugs and some casseroles) may not have butterflies in the pattern and only flowers. Also known as: Golden Butterflies, Five Petal Flowers

Interestingly, we’ve seen more than a few of these in their original boxes which has helped to identify and distinguish these Round Cinderella Casserole sets from the Bake-Serve-Store ones. They are still very similar, and often used interchangeably. Indeed, the smallest of the casseroles is the same size as the largest of the Bake-Serve-Store casseroles. The numbers for the Round Casserole Set are 473 (1 L) 474 (1.5 L) and 475 (2 L). If you do have one in the box, you’ll note that the box usually has a “480″ number which helped to distinguish them when you bought them new. However, not many people kept the boxes up until now!

The patterns are again the same for Butterfly Gold. The normal pattern alternates white on orange-brown for the largest and smallest dishes, while the medium casserole is reversed. The secondary pattern has the wheat sheaf butterfly pattern and the medium size casserole is not white but a slightly lighter shade of orange-brown.
