Pattern: Butterfly Gold
Identifiers / Alternate Names: Various butterflies and five petaled flowers. Most commonly a yellow-brown pattern on white, though the reverse of white on yellow-brown also exists. Two distinct pattern variations exist for various items - one has just the butterflies and flowers while the other has those items embedded on "wheat stalks", much like the Autumn Harvest pattern. Some lids feature a ring of butterfly gold with a single flower in the center, and the smallest size refrigerator box contains a single flower. Some other items (mugs and some casseroles) may not have butterflies in the pattern and only flowers. Also known as: Golden Butterflies, Five Petal Flowers

Sizes and ID#s: #922 (8 inch square, 2 inches tall)
You don’t see as many of these 8 inch square Pyrex baking dishes around as some of the other sizes, but we love them anyway. This Butterfly Gold Baking Pan is great for making brownies and other desserts.
It measures eight inches square and is about 2 inches deep. It’s interesting that the ID number on bottom says #922, which is different than some of the other older square baking dishes that have the #222 designation. Another difference is that the corners on the ear handles of the dish are cut more sharply, at a diagonal. The earlier dishes seem to have round corners, though i haven’t confirmed this for all cases.
The design featured is of course the popular Butterfly Gold design on two sides of the dish. The brownish-yellow to gold pattern is a shorter one, with two butterflies on either side, then two leaf clusters and then the familiar five petaled flower in the middle.
