However, all of these items have a speckled look to the finish consisting of what looks like tiny spots or flecks of brown (on the yellow) or light red (on the pink) paint. This is one of our favorite size dishes in any pattern because it is so useful. A lot of people call these “brownie pans”. I like how the backstamp is #222 on these 8×8 inch Desert Dawn baking pans produced in yellow and pink. Multiply it up 2 x 2 x 2 and you get 8. It also happens to be 2 inches deep as well. We’ve seen newer 8×8 pans have the #922 instead and the handles are cut sharply instead of rounded.
