This is the “Early American” Pattern Nesting Bowl set which has 3 bowls in it. It has a host of different designs within the pattern, much like the Butterprint Amish series. I believe these particular bowls came only in brown on white, although the Cinderella shape bowl set with the Early American print has ones with reverse color scheme (opal/white on dark brown). Some of the different items you can see in the patterns include kettles, salt and pepper shakers, lamps, eagles, corn, coffee grinders, cats, fire bellows, 4 point stars and rooster weathervanes.

I’m not entirely sure about the numbers on the bowls since we don’t own any of them but from online searching the sizes of the three bowls seem to be the standard 1 1/2 pint (401) for the smallest, 1 1/2 quart (402) for the middle size, and 2 1/2 quarts (403) for the largest. There is a 4 quart (404) size bowl that is a little harder to find. Believe that like some of the other sets the 3 smaller Early American bowls were commonly sold together and it was optional to buy the larger 404 separately.
