This is a Pyrex divided dish that was released as a promotion in Fall of 1965. To our knowledge it did not come with any lid but did have a wooden handled carrying cradle of the usual brass colored metal. We can’t remember if we have seen a box previously for this item, but if so we don’t remember the actual text on the box. However, this is another of those ambiguous named promotional items that is called “Floral” on several other sites so we assume that they saw the original box and that’s what was on it.
Again, we hate to complain - but would it have hurt Corning to at least give the promotional pieces distinct names so we could differentiate between them? There are a million different items promotional items that have “floral” motifs… if we can think of a suitable name, we’re inclined to rename this one in the name of clearing up confusion between this and other patterns.
Anyhow, the photo above was provided by pyrexboy78, who notes that this great pattern of pink and orange flowers on vines is closer to a “tangerine” color. It’s on a standard opal white divided 1.5 quart size dish.
