Pattern: Friendship
Identifiers / Alternate Names: Colorful orange and red bird motifs on white background form the basis. Some casserole lids are clear with the pattern, others solid white, but both have the birds in a circle. Some sets also include solid orange and red colored items with no bird pattern on them, though sometimes combined with lids that have the bird pattern. NOTE: Do not confuse the popular 1975 Corning Ware pattern known as Country Festival with Friendship! Though the pattern is setup similarly, the birds are Blue on that one and this is NOT the Friendship pattern. Also known as: Birdie, Friendship Bird, Pennsylvania Dutch Bird Scene, Red Rooster

As far as we know, the Friendship Cinderella bowl sets were released only as 4 piece bowl sets with number 440-45, and never as only 3 piece sets. The bowls contain the same patterns as the standard mixing bowls in Friendship with the big difference being that the #442 and #444 colors are switched. The 1.5 quart #442 bowl is orange, while the 4 quart large #444 bowl is actually red. Otherwise, the birdie patterns are identical on these popular bowls.
[ Update January 2010 ] HotforPyrex on Flickr has found a yellow version of the 441. As only the 441 was found, we do not know if a whole set was ever created. But it was still very interesting to see this color variation. Many thanks for sharing!
