Wow, didn’t know these were considered collectibles. My mother recently sold her house and gave the kids most of the contents. I specifically asked for a large blue bowl I remembered from childhood, and a set of refrigerator dishes. Turns out they’re more than just good memories. The bowl has the same decoration as the “Golden Gooseberry” but is blue, and the refrigerator dishes turn out to also be collectible Pyrex. Who knew!

Hi Liz, are you by any chance located in the UK? The “blue” gooseberry pattern was only made in the UK. The more common US version is pink.

Wow! Gorgeous…..I love my Gooseberry bowls. I have the pink and the blue and two pieces of the black print gooseberry design…I use them all the time.

We've been having a lot of bots trying to leave comments lately. So we're adding a question to the comment form. Please spell out the answer, capitalize the first letter. It should be easy to solve :) Regardless, you won't see your comment right away, because we are also moderating each one. It will most likely show up in a few hours to a few days.
