Pattern: Morning Blue
Identifiers / Alternate Names: Purple to Blue flower and leaf motifs sprinkled along the sides along with a wavy decorated line in the same color. This pattern only appears a few items like mugs and creamer/sugar sets, since it is meant to go with Corelle Livingware.

For awhile, I’d assumed that the Morning Blue Corelle pattern was limited to Pyrex mugs. I just hadn’t checked into other items being sold in this pattern. But I found a Creamer in the pattern the other day at the thrift store which was indeed marked Pyrex. I’d assumed the creamer and sugar were made of Corelle and plus I didn’t have any of the creamers to compare to.

After looking online, I saw that they did have a Pyrex creamer and a sugar with lid in Morning Blue pattern. The pattern is small blue-purple flowers along with a double line running around the side of the creamer. The piece is marked as Pyrex Microwave Safe on the bottom, but mine has no item number (only a batch mold number of “42″). There is also no capacity, though I measured out water in it and it turned out to be exactly 300 ml.

It has a handle that reminds me of some of the Corelle cups and a fairly small downturned spout. It is also taller than what I expect a creamer to be - indeed when I first picked it up I thought it was a mug.
