I’m actually not 100% sure this pie plate was of the original “Opal White” series that was produced in the 50s. One reason why is that the size is given in centimeters. This is an Opal White Pie Plate that is marked 23 cm on the bottom and 209 on the bottom.

We actually tend to see either the Flamingo Pink or Lime Green colored pie plates much more frequently than plain opal white. Nevertheless, this is still a very usable old glass plate that we’ve used to make pies in modern ovens. It’s actually sort of nice not to have the color on the outside because you don’t have to worry about scratching the color off.
