Pattern: Pink Daisy
Identifiers / Alternate Names: White stylized daisy flowers with long petals on pink solid background. Petals are simple hollow outlines with a solid white center. Note that this pattern is always called Pink Daisy but the true name that Pyrex gave it is most likely "White Daisy". On various original boxes and dealer adverts, the box numbers contain a "WD" which definitely stands for White Daisy. Still, we will refer to it as Pink Daisy throughout the site. Also known as: White Daisy (Correct Name), Daisies, Pink Floral, Starbursts, Daisy Flowers.

These stylized daisies were popular in the 50s and 60s, but they’ve gained in popularity again. Again, the 1957 date comes from a dealer advert in the Rogove / Steinhauer book, but I don’t know whether they continued to manufacture it after that. It seems the correct date it was introduced, however.
This is a standard #963 / 1063 style divided dish with the clear cover. We found ours without a lid but successfully used one from another divided dish to take the picture. Surprisingly, while the dish is popular and is pink, it doesn’t seem to command the same type of prices that the older Pink solid color mixing bowls and refrigerator sets do. Not sure why that is…
