Spirograph
Whew, it’s been awhile since we’ve posted any finds up. We haven’t given up on searching for Pyrex for our collection, but we definitely have slowed our acquisitions. It’s just difficult to find promotional items at the thrift that we don’t already have. We did pick up this Spirograph promo casserole recently, which we’ve wanted for awhile. Unfortunately, there was no plastic green underplate which originally came with this item.

I was wondering if you watch Mad Men? The season 4 premiere had a scene with the blue snowflake casserole prominently featured.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGG! I have this in mint condition, and have been searching the internet trying to find out what it was! I aquired this from the estate of an elderly couple dear to my mother. It has such vivid color. I have used it a couple times, but now it is perched atop my kitchen cabinet in a flamingo pink 8×8 baker, and next to a casserole I got from my grandmother (it’s golden yellow with an olive green floral design on the opaque white lid). The colors of pyrex make me so happy, so I keep them out of the cabinets to enjoy! PS Can you please ID the other casserole I spoke of above? Thank You, Jennifer

My mom has this casserole — it’s her official mac and cheese dish!
