Pattern: Spring Blossom Green
Identifiers / Alternate Names: Shares same elements of pattern with "Crazy Daisy", and is often counted as variations of one pattern with Crazy Daisy being the "earlier" version. Solid and outlined green flowers on white (or reversed) are the basic pattern. Spring Blossom often has fan-shaped 4 leaf clusters instead of three leaf ones as well as dots that are both colored in and hollow. There are no single leaf motifs as well. This opal white colored butter dish features the familiar Spring Blossom Green pattern on the top of the cover. These butter dishes were released as companions with the Corelle Livingware sets of dinnerware. I believe that they are usually also called “Compatibles” because of this. I’ve been trying to figure out the box numbers for all of these because they are one of the more common Pyrex items to see being sold with the original boxes. This was has a box number of 72-1 which leads me to believe that it was the first one (seems like the Amish Butterprint Butter Dish would be first but I haven’t seen the original box).
Quick reminder: this pattern is very frequently called “Crazy Daisy” on Ebay.
Some of the butter dishes are marked with “72B” on the bottom, but I don’t believe that the Spring Blossom Butter Dish is (at least the one I have wasn’t - it’s just marked as Trademark “7″ Pyrex). The cover lid is not marked as well. The dish is about 6.75 inches long, 3.25 inches wide and 2 inches high.
