This Verde Solid Color Nesting Mixing Bowl set of the 1960s is very distinctive in color and matches the time period they were put out in. Although the set is called the “Verde” color set, implying that they are green, the 4 bowls are actually all different shades of yellow brown and green. I think I’ve seen a couple different variations on the colors of the different sizes but for the most part they are similar.
Usually, the largest bowl 4 quart, 10 inch diameter bowl is a dark olive green. The next size down, the 2 1/2 quart 8 1/2 inch diameter mixing bowl is a beige with a tinge of green in color. The 1 1/4 quart 7 inch diameter bowl is a light yellow-green in color. The smallest 1 1/2 pint 5 1/2 inch bowl is a shade of yellow that is pretty similar to the Primary Color bowls, but I think it may be lighter.
Here is an example of the #402 1 1/2 quart and #401 1 1/2 pint Verde mixing bowl we found at a local flea market for $3 ea:
